Herdeira d'Ouro - Golden Heiress
Hera is a tall and strong 12 year old Lusitano Cruzado mare with a green equine passport. For the last 10 years she lived wild, happy and free in a herd on 60 hectares. In that time she has had one foal which turned into a stunningly beautiful and clever mare as well. She has fantastic moves and is extremely athletic and fast. I see her as an extrordinary partner for Working Equitation but she would also excel in Dressage and Classical Riding. It is an absolute pleasure to play with this mare at Liberty as she is extremely willing to do the right thing and when she is understanding and connected it is unbelievable how subtle the communication between a horse and a human can be.
She has a long history of not letting anyone near her but now that she's with me she is learning that connection is the key to find harmony instead of running away. She is already looking for connection but because of her history of running away she is only suitable to a home with some horsemanship experience or someone willing to learn.
Once this mare is connected it is one of the strongest connections you can have and she is transferring all she learned with me to other humans as well.
Hera is used to living in herds and is generally social but definetly a more dominant mare in the herd order.

Suggested for interested buyers is to come for a 5 day horsemanship education vacation on the silver coast where you take a private lesson with her everyday to get to truly know her and to set you up for success in your future life together.
The handover lesson package will be free of charge to the person that chooses Ouro to become part of their family.
